Heating & Air Conditioner Repair in Kennewick
How Does The Heating And Air Conditioner Work In Your Car?
Your heating and air conditioner work to keep you comfortable year-round in your vehicle. Keeping them maintained is important to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Your air conditioner (AC) blows cool air as a result of a compressed gas. Refrigerant is turned into a hot gas in the compressor and then cooled to a liquid in the condenser to a liquid form. The liquid then returns to a low-pressure gas in the evaporator and is pushed out over a fan into your vehicle to keep you cool.
Your heating system works in a similar manner. Coolant travels through the radiator or heater core. As air is pushed in front of the heater core with a fan it slowly heats up and is eventually pushed into your vehicle as hot air to keep you warm.
Identifying problems in your heating and air conditioner such as leaks, broken components, and rusty or clogged lines is a skill our trained technicians can handle. Call today for an appointment to get started.
