Good service, but this time the tech left dirty fingerprints on some interior leather surfaces, like the door armrest and the glove box push to open button. It all cleaned up, but this is the first time they ever left fingerprints. Techs should either wear gloves or wash hands before getting inside the vehicles. It's especially noticeable because this car has cream color leather surfaces.

I brought in my Honda Fit fairly confident that my machinist friend and I had narrowed down my car troubles to a failing alternator, but an hour after dropping it off I got a call from Tom stating that the alternator, battery, starter, etc. were all working just fine. He asked if I had taken it somewhere and was told it needed to be replaced, and his tone had an air of "who lied to you"? I'm a woman but I know cars to a decent degree, even if my pitifully neglected Honda says otherwise, so I've had my fair share of cases of mechanics and service advisors trying to give me the run-around and not listening to what I tell them. Just ask Doug at the Honda Dealership; he knows what he did. It was refreshing to get a call saying what DIDN'T need to be done, instead of a laundry list of things that supposedly DO need repair. The belt was in good condition but had a bit of a squeal, so a replacement was recommended, and I'm ashamed to say I had to admit to Tom that I was well aware that I was long overdue for an oil change but had forgotten to mention it (just like I'd forgotten to get it done for 5k miles), but with those services I was on my way, time and money saved. Highly recommend them and they'll definitely be my go-to in the future.
